First off, let me apologize if this thread was already made; it's been a while since I last visited this site, so I'm a bit out-of-date with what's going on.

Anyway, last chapter gave me a theory I want to discuss. Madara, an ancient old man, saved Obito Uchiha who seems resistant to joining causes with Madara.

My guess is that Madara is currently manipulating Obito with his Sharingan, or, at the very least, Madara was able to convince him to hate the world. Furthermore, there has to be a reason why Madara rescued Obito. Like Orochimaru's reanimation, Madara could easily have inhabited Obito's body; Obito may really be dead. Just my guess~

Madara saved him because he knew Obito has S/T Ninjutsu within his Mankegyo. Madara doesnt need sharingan to manipulate someone. His Talk no Jutsu is enough.

they obviously fulfill the PEDO-Willing young boy role.

obito clearly states he will suck marada's d as payment for his new body
might as well call Madara Gerry Sandusky

judging from Obito's words here

here (also giving him back his fan)

but most important the way Madara chastises Obito over being too hasty in this page

and Obito's expression right after Madara's 'scolding'

strongly suggest a mentor-pupil relation. i mean look at Obito's expression! he seems like a child after someone very important to him reprimands him.
