Reincarnation

i've said this on a couple threads. as reincarnation is just the soul of someone in the past being reborn in another body, it's impossible for madara or hashi to be one of their reincarnations. they don't truly fit the bill anyways as hashi was always more talented and stronger than madara, even though they both were very talented and powerful. most likely if there is a current incarnation of them they can't be edo'ed.

In the manga it says that it is their chakra being past on through the generations not their souls.
