Regrets with Hinata?

In this chapter it looked like Naruto had some regrets with Hinata as well. I'm trying to figure out what he might have regretted with her? Not loving her in the first place? Not noticing her before? Not being able to protect her during his fight with Pain? That's all I can think of. Would anyone agree or is there more?

Regretting to actually do something after she confessed her love, because they all have a chance of dying at the moment.

Actually for me it seemed closer to the idea that Hinata is someone who understood to a degree via suffering (as she's always been an observer). By saying his name to me I saw her as someone who was thinking over how everyone must feel now that they've seen his pain. That and she knows he thought of Neji which is someone she's certainly grieving despite not having time for it.

Maybe he felt guilty for not thanking her and everything she's tried to do for him.

Where does it imply he has regrets in regards to Hinata?

That whole moment was not a pairing moment. Clearly see he is remembering mostly deaths among other things and remembers neji in the process.

I thought it was Hinata who also didn't want to have regrets or something in that moment..
She wants to live by his words "no regrets" so follow your heart.. type thing. Lol

I think the OP refers to the fact Hinata was seen twice with her own panel in each... Her last one she says his name.

Which if you read above, I had a different take on it.

If you look closely .

In that moment everyone (who know naruto) relate to his regrets

Hinata = neji scene

Garra =chyio scene

Tsunade x orochimaru = jiraya scene

Shiamaru = asuma scene

Sakura = sasuke scene

lol , you're overreacting , Hinata appeared 2 times , because the 2 most obvious reasons , first , neji die , what is neji for hinata? and the other , what is Naruto for Hinata? that's right.

Hinata's only relevance to the whole thing was the neji death, if this is what people are hinging to i could easily say the same for sakura as she was seen in an actual flashback as well but it just wasn't a pairing moment to me in the slightest.

IMO if kishi was pushing regret in regards to her he would have shown the hand holding flash as well. As it happened the same time practically.

i agree, each regret was linked to each character we seen. Not pairings.

I'm not trying to say there is a pairing aspect at all... I personally did not see it as such. The first time she appeared was to link with Neji (that was obvious)... I'd say the second time shows that's she's someone who understands Naruto to a degeee because she's someone who's always been watching him. As an observer, she has insight to at least a small degeee over what he's been through.

It has nothing to do with a Shipping moment IMO.

LOL. Naruto doesn't give a phuck about Hinata. Why would he care about a girl when the world is in danger. Even if, Naruto will go to Sakura not Hinata.

I don't think Kishi will do something that deep.

Who even said this was a pairing moment to begin with?

OT: I don't think he had any regrets with Hinata.

Naruto doesn't have any regret for Hinata showed in this chapter. His entire regret was focused on not talking to Sasuke when they were kids. Now, he's not going to stay behind and regret it. He's going to step up and be with Sasuke.

Hinata was focused twice. She was focused on when they showed Neji's death and when she Naruto was talking. This was Hinata noticing Naruto, but not vice versa. It was a bit random in my opinion, but Naruto had no interaction with her, but she did with him. I don't think it was regret, but we already know she probably regrets saying something. It just didn't fit here and I didn't see it here.

You are looking for something which was not even there. If Hinata were dead she might have been counted among those particular regrets.
