___ Regret___
The regret that follows me in this road of life
May be the life have been different If I did the things right

The shadows of the past still pierce my soul
The careless mistakes I made could be avoided if I was not a fool

Just to survive, I submitted myself to this exotic world
The malicious world tainted me and now I can’t even recognize myself

To face the reality, I sought to become strong
I subdued my heart in this quest and only did wrong

Even if I get strength, achievement and success
What happiness will I get if my heart is already dead?

I’ll regret why I sold my dreams, my smiles and my true self
If after getting everything I’ll carve for the things that I left

The remorseful soul that is plagued with my pitiless decisions
Is screaming to me to wake up from this world of illusion

One day I hope that piercing regret will go away
If in the future I’ll not let my happiness fade away

The twinge in my heart will vanish someday
My self-inflicted scars will always show me the light on the upcoming pathway
