[Question] Registration

How come the registration button no longer works? There was probably an announcement about it, but I missed it.

Anyways, my friend wants to make a Naruto Base account but I told him that the register button doesn't work anymore, so does anyone know if it'll be put back on later or why it was taken off in the first place?

Registrations have been closed since last June and they won't ever bring it back until they want to. Something about the trolls on the website (weird, how there will always be trolls in the internet whether registrations are up or not), but it's their decision.
