Ever since we saw the Kekkie Mōra in chapter 689, there was a lot of confusion as to why water was not listed as one of the natures that it encompassed. Even in the VIZ translation wood was listed instead of water.

I found this recently on Naruto wiki.

In the original publication of chapter 689, Black Zetsu lists Wood as one of the component natures of Kaguya's Truth-Seeking Ball, rather than Water. Masashi Kishimoto confirmed this was an error in Issue #41 of Weekly Shōnen Jump, and stated that it would be corrected in the tankōbon release of the chapter.

It's a minor mistake that's not really important to the story, but I thought I should post this.

I never really cared. Not sure why everyone jumps on the smallest plot holes.

Not even Kishi can change Mangafacts. It stays as wood.

It's just a mistake...it's common sense that the 5 basic elements include water, not wood.

Great to know ;)

Look like Kishi cares about the manga at least in some part somehow.

Its not a plot hole
It was an error.
Plot holes are detrimental obstacles to the storyline that negate/contradict earlier/future statements and story points.

Even if kishi didn't plan on fixing it,it does none of the above mentioned
