Regarding the aftermath of Madara vs the five Kage

During the skirmish between Edo Madara and the five kage, we had Genma, Raido, Sagan, and Dodai chasing after the Edo Mu. Yet, they seemingly disappeared after the release of Edo Tensei. It's as though they seemingly vanished from the war itself. Despite being in such close proximity to the kage, none were present to help them after their defeat, nor were they present when the kage came back to the battlefield.

If you have any thoughts as to what happened to them, I'd love to hear them.
