Regarding Nagato and Itachi during the Naruto & Bee fight

During the fight, Nagato asks Itachi about it being true that the Uchiha planing a coup (it's in ch. 549). From the look of Nagato's face, he is shocked and possibly shocked.

I don't understand why Itachi was telling Naruto that's enough about it. Furthermore, I don't understand why it seems that Nagato, to me, looked worried about this revelation. To me, that seems a bit hypocritical since Nagato was guilty of the deaths/injuries of so many people. Now, of course, BZ and Obito were manipulating both but they also had a degree of guilt on their part.

Also, if Nagato had successfully remove Naruto's soul, would that mean that he could've also extracted Kurama and placed into Nagato? I ask this because Kurama has essentially become a part of Naruto in what is comparable to Kaguya being one with the Shinju and Sauron with the One Ring.

Nagato wasn't "worried", he was surprised. And he reacted that way for the exact same reason Itachi told Naruto to stop: the villainous image that Itachi had created for himself was being exposed. It was a sort of "natural" reaction, like how someone would react if their friend was telling their secret out loud, for example.

No. Or, not likely. It took multiple Akatsuki members to extract a Bijuu from their host. I doubt Nagato would have been able to do the same process alone, with that jutsu.

Nagato wasn't worried, he was surprised to hear this, he had no idea that Itachi exterminated his clan to protect the village.

I don't think he would had Kurama, just Naruto would die and Kurama would be free after awhile.
