What does referring people to NB do? my friend just joined and it told him who referred him to the base. so he put my name, but i dont know what it does :| can someone explain it if you so kindly would?

You should refer your friends to NB for its quality, for the fun you have here, for your own opinion on the site, not because some perk could come of that. If that was the case, millions of alternate accounts would pop up daily with multiple referrals just to gain that said perk.
