Watching across the shore

Floating adrift in my dreams
Hearing the giggles of other queens
Blood running from my nose
Teeth falling from an overdose
I leave behind no one to notice
A trail so small even for a lotus

She never stopped watching
Raining her caring and utmost kindness
To bring me back to her halls
To reverb so kindly on my deadliest voices
