Sayin fought with Kuvira (with no armor) and briefly overpowered her until her mechs came, and she began to utilize her metal clothing. Is Kuvira likely a slightly better bender than Ashton? Definitely. But clearly, she’s not outmatching her that far outright, though it’s worth noting the only comparison of grand power we have for Kuvira was every battle she had an inherent advantage in.

she put armour on literally seconds into the fight. Still lost. She couldn't beat kuvira in a 1v1 and tried to sneak up on her and kill her in her sleep. She know she not on the lvl. You should to.

Regardless of what the objective was, Tenzin’s airbending outmatches every other Airbender the series has shown, to the point of being on par with Aang. Zaheer only matches him in mobility, not scale of bending nor expertise, and he cannot fly while P’li is alive. Even if he could, airbending is hardly a sniper’s element. He would have to directly attack.
The objective is the most important part. Had the red lotus killed tenzin then korra wouldn't play ball. -_-

Water arms are irrelevant. Katara bends water on a higher scale than everyone in the series. By the end of TLA, she could flash-freeze water even Azula couldn’t react to, and her waterbending vs Azula and Zuko at the Crystal Catacombs is as far as Ming Hua could ever hope to bend. She’s also capable of exerting impeccable control over the smallest drops of water (see the raindrop spikes on the Southern Raiders) and she’s a healer, bloodbender, and plantbender. She is the pinnacle of waterbending.
The amount of water arms you can do at once is the literal reflection of how skilled you are at waterbending. -_-

As far as P’Li, we’ve never seen her blast straight through huge pillars, but I’d still contend that her superiority to Combustion man isn’t enough to offset the enormous disparity in power between Katara and everyone else on Team 1. If Toph’s one showing in TLoK showed us anything, her generation’s benders are in a class of their own.
She didn't even do anything. Toph is the most overwanked character in the series. She only beat no name mooks. She never actually took on a named character worth a damn

Suyin's armor, crude and made of metal panels vs Kuvira's armor, specifically made to be transformed into blades and shields, are not even comparable. Is Kuvira a better bender than Suyin, yes, at least a tier above her, and at least a tier below Toph. Is she leaps and bounds above her, no. It is also worth noting that she is implied to be a slightly better bender than Lin, who is marked as extremely high level herself. Either way, Lavabending VS Metalbending seems to be a poor matchup in her favor, considering metal is going to move much faster.

The objective is important, but the sheer fact that he held off every member of the Red Lotus simultaneously makes it moot to my point. Regardless of the objective, Tenzin clearly outclasses any single one of them, as each and every one of them have non-lethal attacks. The fact that, in any capacity, he outmatched their collective bending strength is a blemish on their raw power as a unit, and the fact that Katara, a raw power BEHEMOTH, and Tenzin, another wealth of raw strength are matched up against such specialized benders is bad for the red lotus

It... literally is not. And there is nothing to suggest that 1. That was 'Crossroads' Katara's upper limit of water arms, or 2. That EoS Katara cannot manifest more if there be need. Katara has bent much larger volumes of water with much more precision than Ming Hua, can plantbend, bloodbend (albeit only with a full moon), can heal, and can draw water from thin air. If anyone in this matchup is undebatably stronger than the others, it is Katara. This is the same woman who threw two metal ships into a mountain so hard they combusted, and beat a crazed Azula (easily the best firebender of the series bar Ozai, maybe Iroh) without a large water source.

Toph literally overpowered the collective strength of Lin, Suyin, and her two sons, took out six Mechs, and intimidated Kuvira to the point where she would not even engage them. She is the strongest earthbender showcased in the series. And Toph has had several fights and showings that put her feats above most other benders.

That's the video of the Su, Lin, Toph vs Kuvira fight. As you can see, Suyin actually has the advantage against Kuvira until she begins using weapons Suyin doesn't have at her disposal. Not implying that with them, she would have beat Kuvira, who is clearly more physically capable and an equal level bender, but clearly Suyin is not far below her.
