i need everybody's help, you see i have listened to many songs in my lifetime, and yet so far i have only a little over 500 songs which i listen to over and over again, im sick of it, i might find a new song to add to my favorite every year or so "which i listen to it until my ears bleed and i never wanna hear it again lol" but anyway thats about it

and get this, every song in my favorites is and has been at one time Very popular, from all decades, the age of the song dont matter, what matters is the music and the content :) just so you have a clue of my taste

so im kinda desperate for a new song to listen to, just cant find one, so maybe you guys can help out


recommend me a song, and you can be sure i will check it out, however dont expect feedback from me - this will be my only post here :p

What a perfect opportunity!

Here: It's a Swedish song, it's catchy and was really popular for a while here, still is amongst many, and the translation would make sure its contents aren't too crude:




1st verse:
Because you want what you want and you want it now
And if you see a possibility it's irrelevant how* - it doesn't matter what you do to get what you want.
For we are wilder than animals when it comes to taking
And if anyone stands in my way, well then it bangs* well - Meaning sh*t will get real, basically.
Nothing is holy so let's rob ourselves rich
And if you can gain on riding a train, then we're getting on
I mean, why compromise, why give way for even an inch?
Because someone else did it I'm going to be equally stupid
I want it good as the rich have it,
If they're ruthless then I follow suit - Be ruthless like they are~
And what they don't know is that I have nothing to lose
So my worries can never be big

Chorus:
Everyone wants to go to heaven but few die
You want to 'comb in'* the win, but sow no seeds - Hard to translate, in Sweden it means something like: You want to acquire the profit~
You want you piece of the cake, and eat it too
People want to 'take back'*, but refuses to give - Reclaim.

2nd Verse:

And continue until someone deprives me of my turn
For who decides what's right and wrong when morale is dead
And people do kill each other for their daily bread
The government backs away, for the companies takes over
And they do a lot of talking but give us meagre salaries
So much bull**** you could think millions of stomachs are emptied
So they make us swim in an ocean of lies
Truth is now but a memory
For every thing we add something disappears
Well, this my ladies and gentlemen is what we are
But I hear the old men on TV say they want peace

Interruption in the video. He's basically complaining and making a point how life is harsh~

Have missed so many choices it 'whistles about it'* - In Swedish meaning: He missed a sh*t load of choices~
The list is long, that as well as the way there and whatnot
Cost what it will, surely to a heavy price* - Meaning: It(missing the choices and whatnot) costing a lot~
Have thought about it, but mostly shallowly
The wrong kind of deep-dive it tests you mentally
You have to pay for everything that means something
Such is the law, nothing at all that we can escape

4th Verse? (It doesn't say, but I'll assume it is):

I see what I see and I see nothing else
And what I see when I look makes me plain pissed
We're on our way somewhere and I don't know where
Hope we can figure it out while the planet is still here
Stuff, things, items is that something to have?* - Rough translation as it in Swedish means: "Is it worth having?"
But still the hunt of these is something that plagues us well* - A lot(not in a good sense)~
I mean the risks are many, but we must take them
Because the suffering grows even bigger without capital
The consequences matters nothing to me
The only help I can get do come from within
And you can ask whom you want, even the friendly
But no one can afford assisting strangers
So it all results in a downwards spiral
So we do it mano a mano till only one is left

Now you can brag about listening and understanding a Swedish rap song, even if only to yourself!
