I enjoyed Harry Potter and Hunger Games, so anything like those two is good, though I would like something more adult.
I want something that I will start reading and won't stop until I finished it.

The Lord of the Rings. U_U How did this not come to mind?
The Inheritance Series (also known as the Eragon Series) is also quite good.
Also, a lesser-known series which I really enjoyed was the Leviathan Series; it's about, basically, Steampunk WWI.
Another good series is Artemis Fowl.

This does depend on what u like.
Personally i enjoyed the Mistborn series it was hella awesome and i did not see that end coming (i´m normally not getting surprised)
The Percy Jackson series is nice as well.
U could also read "The Banned" i didn´t really enjoy it that much but there seem to be many people who like it.
Mortal Instruments if u r into demon killer and Romance
Tempest Novels by Julie Cross if u like Time Travel in our time.

Personally i found that after the Second Book it just got really really bad. The fourth book kinde seemed like he didn´t want to write the Story anymore. Furthermore he doesn´t write that good

In Mary's world there are simple truths. The Sisterhood always knows best. The Guardians will protect and serve. The Unconsecrated will never relent. And you must always mind the fence that surrounds the village; the fence that protects the village from the Forest of Hands and Teeth. But, slowly, Mary’s truths are failing her. She’s learning things she never wanted to know about the Sisterhood and its secrets, and the Guardians and their power, and about the Unconsecrated and their relentlessness. When the fence is breached and her world is thrown into chaos, she must choose between her village and her future—between the one she loves and the one who loves her. And she must face the truth about the Forest of Hands and Teeth. Could there be life outside a world surrounded in so much death?

Grubbs Grady is an average kid. A bit bigger and slyer than a lot of boys his age (he loves to play evil, ingenious tricks on his sister), but nothing special. He leads an ordinary life, and expects it will always be that way. But when his parents and sister behave strangely ... and Grubbs decides to stick his nose in ... his entire world is thrown into chaos. He discovers that demons are real, and that terrible things can happen right in front of your eyes.

As Grubbs slowly and painfully tries to deal with his new situation, help appears in the form of a friendly, eccentric relative. Grubbs moves to the countryside to recover, and starts putting his life back together. But there are secrets to be uncovered and hard truths to learn, and Grubbs is about to find out that as crazy and deadly as the world now seems, life is about to get a whole lot worse!!!

Everworld by K.A. Applegate

Four teenagers, along with the powerful and mysterious Senna Wales, are dragged from our world and into the parallel universe Everworld, a land populated by ancient gods and their human worshipers. Once a stable land, the balance of Everworld has changed with the arrival of the alien god Ka-Anor, who feasts on the Everworld gods, and his insect-like followers who now swarm across the land. Seeing his doom if he remains in Everworld, the Norse god Loki has brought Senna to Everworld to serve as a gateway and allow him to escape into our world. Senna, however, has no intention of helping Loki, or anyone else for that matter, and sees her arrival in Everworld as an opportunity for power and conquest.

The teenagers who have also been transported to Everworld, David, Christopher, April, and Jalil, are swept along for the ride as the gods wage war, pillage, torture, and scheme. Compounding these already life-threatening problems is the mystery of their now dual existence. When they crossed over into Everworld, they somehow split in two, with one half remaining in the real world going about their regular lives and the other half battling for survival in Everworld. When they sleep in Everworld, these two halves merge in the real world where they swap memories with themselves. This allows them to brush up on ancient mythology in the real world, but it also brings up the question that haunts them throughout the series: If they die in Everworld, do they die in the real world as well? As if this weren't enough, each character also has their own real world problems to deal with.

The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder -- much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?

This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know. . .

I highly recommend these, especially The Demonata and Everworld.

The Sell-Swords Series by R.A. Salvator

2 main characters, medieval like times, magic, swords, all that good stuff.

The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien

I'm susure you've heard of it.

The Inheritance Cycle (four books sorry to break the 3) by Christopher Paelone (spelled hos name wrong).

Dragons, magic, elves, humans, dwarves, one of the most unique concepts of magic at that.

The first two sre a little more serious hearted than something like Harry Potter, but all of them are great.
