Reborn does not take after his father in terms of physical stature. Reborn is a short, rather light weight individual with a lean ecto-mesomorph figure (70/30). Reborn’s height is likely a result of his mother’s genetics, with the members of her family being shorter in stature. As for his physique, due to a high metabolism and the amount of physical training he endures on a regular basis, he burns mass quicker than he gains. The only real upside to this is that a majority of his weight is lean muscle leaving slightly more than the essential body fat necessary for somebody of his size and age. For a small guy he’s at his peak physical development.
Needless to say due to his size Reborn doesn’t possess a very imposing or intimidating air to him on first glance. His facial features don’t do much to assist him in this department either. Very much like his father, Reborn does not possess any distinguishing facial hair. The only abundance of hair on Reborn’s body is on his head. He has long black hair which he generally keeps in a Queue hairstyle, common among the Xing Kingdom (see Origin story). His expressionless brown eyes and young face lead people to think he’s still well under aged, which often time annoys him. Reborn tells himself he’s just a graceful ager to compensate for his young appearance.
Despite his appearance Reborn hasn’t faced much ridicule. Ironically enough Reborn’s natural presence goes unnoticed unless he puts efforts to make himself known. This has nothing to do with his clan’s abilities but rather how insignificant he comes off most of the time. He can, however, make his presence very vibrant and cast a shadow much larger than himself with his…strong personality. Reborn’s natural “lack of a presence” combined with his ability to make himself known is something of a universal gag about his clan’s ability.
Reborn has 3 primary outfits that he tends to wear; The Legendary Black Falcon outfit, a black and white kimono, and a traditional martial arts gi bandaged around the calves and forearms. Personality: He hospitably challenged tsundere
Reborn is the heir to the Hayabusa clan, thus it would make sense that he carries himself in a fashion that displays honor and reflects positively on his clan. If somebody were to come out and say that Reborn is a blunt, crude, and pretentious son of a *****, it would be rather confusing that that these were the characteristics attributed of a clan leader.
Reborn’s entire upbringing was left in the hands of his caretakers who were strict, fair, and caring for him as a child. Both of Reborn’s parents were dignified, strong willed, wise individuals who gave the perfect image of what Reborn was to aspire to. For the most part, that was the case. Reborn is very astute and aware of the social settings and displays dignified behavior toward others who are not on personal terms with him. Actually, it is more appropriate to say this is the behavior he displays to those he has respect for or has no reason not to show respect to. Reborn’s actual personality, which is revealed only to those close to him or those he feels don’t warrant his respect, is a completely different story.
Reborn has always been stern which radiates a somewhat unfriendly air to him. This nature is exacerbated by an incredible forthrightness and blunt behavior that often gets Reborn the reputation as a rude, belligerent individual. Even in situations where Reborn is expected to be professional, if his triggers are hit, Reborn’s personality can take a 180 almost instantly. When conducting tests or training Reborn is especially strict; his low tolerance for failure and incompetency are triggers for his harshness. He has referred to people as “atrocities” and never makes secret his discontent for their performances in tests. He is so unused to praising people he’s almost speechless when he comes across a descent test.
In training, Reborn has berated many students with a sharp tongue for general incompetence that he felt came as a result of a deficiency in common sense. In one instance Reborn expressed utter contempt for a brand new student. The child was barely even a genin in skill and knowledge but Reborn developed a migraine trying to get the child to follow basic instructions. By the time the two of them were actually able to start training, Reborn had already resented the child. When starting training with this student Reborn said:“I'm going to do everything in my power to make this as unpleasant as possible but so rich and rewarding in knowledge you cannot hope to be ungrateful. Do you understand me?” Reborn is especially harsh with mistakes that are repeated more than twice as he hates having to repetitiously correct the same thing multiple times. Reborn is also uncompromisingly stubborn at times. The same student from before was eventually dropped and due to Reborn’s stubbornness he refused to teach the boy again despite now looking at the boy as a kid brother. Shihoshi
Creation:
Shihoshi is the creation of Rin’ne Hayabusa. To put it simply, Shihoshi is a humanoid chimera consisting of four different animals; specifically the four animal constellations that exist within Reborn’s religious and spiritual (Chinese Cosmology) beliefs.
The four animals that Shihoshi is comprised of are; The Azure Dragon, Vermillion Bird, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise. From the Dragon, Shihoshi gets its skin and whiskers. Shihoshi’s midnight blue skin is scaled like a serpent dragon. Shihoshi’s is the same complexion as the rest of his skin, however he has amber eyes and two whiskers from his upper lip down to his upper chest.
From the Bird, Shihoshi receives its wings, which are usually tucked away or wrapped around its body like a shawl. At full extension Shihoshi’s wingspan is nearly 3 meters in length.
From the Tiger Shihoshi receives its physique and height. Shihoshi stands just over 3 meters (about 10ft) tall and weighs roughly 300kg (660lbs). Its fingers and teeth are also as strong and sharp as tiger claw, capable of cutting, piercing, and tearing through flesh.
From the Tortoise, Shihoshi receives the shell and the tail. The Black Tortoise, however, is not a traditional turtle. The Black Tortoise is comprised of two animals; a turtle coiled by a snake. As such the “shell” of the Tortoise refers to its lightweight armor plating (breast, arm, and leg plates) capable of blocking freeform weaponry. Its tail, however, is a black serpent with amber eyes. Typically the snake is wrapped around its waist as if it were a belt and the eyes closed, concealing the fact that it is indeed a snake.
Shihoshi is a sentient being, capable of human speech and has the intelligence of a wise veteran warrior. Shihoshi has two conflicting personalities and voices; one of the honor bound, forthcoming warrior male and the other of a cunning, deceitful, and practical female. These personalities and voices are that of the head (dragon) and the tail (snake) respectively. Both are usually at odds with one another but both share loyalty to Rin’ne. Typically, the dragon will speak verbally to Reborn while the snake will speak telepathically, though both are capable of either form of communication.

(Fūinjutsu: Shirizokeru) Sealing Art: Repulse

Description: This is a special two way seal, that can be created by writing the formula on your body and then injecting either Fire or Earth chakra into it where it then lays dormant on the body, turning invisible, until activated. Once the user has been engaged within close range with an enemy that attempts to inject chakra within the users body through taijutsu the seal will activate on the users body, appearing around the initial area of contact, absorbing the injected chakra into it while injecting the opponent's body part with either Fire or Earth chakra. The user still takes the full hit of the taijutsu attack, but with one hand seal from the user, the opponent will either feel an extreme burning feeling in their joints as they attempt to move them or an extreme stiffness depending on the chakra placed in the seal. This prevents the opponent from performing any hand seals in their next turn. This seal can only absorb up to B ranked chakra at once, and only one type of chakra seal can be place on the body. The seal can activate up to three separate times throughout the battle, through 3 separate B ranked chakra injecting taijutsu moves, where the sealing formula then breaks and fades. The user will not be able to create the seal again until the battle is over.

(Neidan Fuin: Jǐnlǐ Dao ) Internal Alchemy Sealing Way of the Koi

Description: This is one of the Hayabusa’s most advanced Neidan techniques. This is one of the non-traditional techniques created by Reborn after mastering both fuinjutsu and Neidan. This technique makes use of Dragon Chakra’s inability of being sealed and extends this affect to the user and their techniques. The process for this sealing technique requires the user to first train and store up a large amount of their Dragon Chakra into a single point of their body (similar to Tsunade’s Yin Sealing technique). The focal point for the seal will form a unique symbol that resembles a black and white koi fish circling each other like the Yin-Yang symbol. The second part of this technique is the actual activation of the technique. The user will activate one half of the seal or one “koi” and apply one of the following affects.
Black Koi: The black koi seal resembles a black koi fish with white eyes, whiskers, and a white circle on its head. This half of the koi seal applies to the user’s being. By activating this technique, the user coats their entire body in their Dragon Chakra and thusly become completely immune to sealing techniques. Seals that have been applied to the user will disappear from existence and all future attempts to seal the user in any way will inevitably fail. This includes barriers and other methods that fall into the category that would otherwise seal the user or prevent them from using techniques and abilities due to being or having been sealed or suppressed. The major drawback to this technique is that this technique also erases any self-imposed sealing techniques that are dormant or active. Hayabusa Dragon Chakra is indiscriminate between native and foreign chakra sealing techniques. The second drawback is that: by using this technique it prevents the use of the other half of this technique. This half of the technique creates a paradox with the other half of the technique in that; this technique erases all seals applied to the user including self-imposed ones. The second half of this seal would be included in this clause. However, because the second seal is also Neidan it cannot have a seal applied to it either thus a paradox occurs. To prevent this paradox, the user uses all the chakra in the seal for this half, which would cause the second half to fade out on its own without actually affecting the technique. When this seal is activated the user’s body from the neck down will be completely engulfed in black. Their sclera will become black as well.
White Koi: The white koi seal resembles a white koi fish with black eyes, whiskers, and a black circle on its head. This half of the Koi seal pertains to the user’s techniques. By activating this technique, the user’s chakra flow increases exponentially due to the chakra from the seal rushing throughout their entire chakra system. This results in every technique used after the activation possessing a significant amount of the user’s Dragon Chakra. The implementation of Dragon Chakra will prevent the user’s techniques from being sealed. This pertains to all non-Neidan techniques and will be maintained for a period of 400 chakra used by the user. This does not prevent sealing techniques from being applied to the user that would prevent certain types of techniques like the previous half of the technique. However once a technique is used with this half of the technique activated, it cannot be sealed or blocked by barriers or other methods of sealing. Because of the exponential flow increase every non-Neidan technique would have additional chakra added to it (+20) which would inevitably cause the jutsu to end quicker as every technique will use more chakra than necessary. This is an unavoidable consequence of the technique in exchange for its other benefits.
Note: The black koi seal will remain active until otherwise deactivated. Once deactivated the technique cannot be used again for the duration of the match.
Note: The white koi seal will remain active until the chakra cap is depleted or otherwise deactivated. However, if the technique is deactivated before the chakra is depleted the white koi can be re-activated (turn cost) with the chakra cap being where the user last had it when the justu was deactivated.

Note: Only one half of the seal can be used per match: the black koi requires all of the chakra stored in the seal and erases the white koi. Since all the chakra in the seal is required for the black koi, using the white koi even minimally will prevent the black half.

Golden Elixir
As a Master Ninja within the Hayabusa clan, Reborn has created Golden Elixirs from his own blood and other ingredients from his home country Owatatsumi. He has created a total of three elixirs containing a total of 500 of his overall chakra reserves (split 200, 200, 100)

Description: The Golden Elixir, also called the Elixir of Immortality is a fabled elixir that is said to grant one immortality. Jo Hayabusa created a concoction in his youth and named it after the fabled elixir. The concoction is a mixture of herbs and soil from Owatatsumi, the blood of the Hayabusa, and the combination of a Hayabusa’s chakra from all three dantian. The result is a fogless, blood red elixir that augments a Hayabusa’s Neidan techniques when touched or ingested. This elixir is stored within a sealed container that, when released, causes the chakra stored within it to overflow back into the user. This elixir increase the strength of a Hayabusa’s Neidan techniques through increasing the chakra output of their techniques.
Note: This elixir can be created by jounin ranked shinobi and higher. Dragon and Head Ninja can carry two elixirs while master ninja can carry three. All elixirs must be posted in one’s bios.
Note: Making the elixir happens outside of battle and requires the user to sacrifice a fixed amount of their chakra. For example, if a user makes 2 elixirs that contain 100 chakra each, then their default chakra capacity at the beginning of battles and/or events is 200 less than what it would normally be. This is a result of the user sealing that fixed amount inside their elixir. No elixir can contain more than 300 chakra.

Reborn's Ascension: Rekindling Family Ties
6 Years had passed since Reborn had departed into the Ninja World. For beginning of his journey he laid dormant behind the scenes of many political squabbles and wars watching the world that was born from the Sage, Hagoromo. Seldom did Reborn participate in the conflicts and only when his hand was forced. The experience surely brought him closer to meeting his goal as a fighter, but he still felt incomplete.
The times he spent away from conflicts, Reborn meditated and worked on increasing his skills and knowledge in Neidan. Reborn would go for a period of several hours at a time sitting in meditation, completely devoid of any connection to the rest of reality, but he'd always return before venturing to far into the void of nothingness. Fear had hindered him; fear of losing his sense of self and fading from reality. It was not until the epiphany of reality's broken and destructive abstraction from truth that Reborn's fear left him.
The periods of time Reborn spent meditating increased every time he removed his attachment to reality. Hours became days, and days became weeks. Every time he sat since then had been with the sole intention to estrange himself from reality; but every time he felt remained incomplete. This happened for nearly 2 years until his meditation sessions became a point of habit. When he was 18, Reborn went to sit. He sat without thinking, without a goal, without question. It was during this time that Reborn felt something for the first time within the void. An indescribable feeling sparked something within the void and Reborn felt completeness. However, the moment he sought after that feeling he awoke. To his surprise, Reborn had been in a state of meditation for 6 months. Reborn could not shake the feeling that he felt and it lingered like a strong after taste. When he couldn't shake the feeling Reborn accepted it "Oh well, no point in harboring on it."
At the age of 20, Reborn sat once more. The feeling that had sparked inside him returned but Reborn kept himself empty. The more he ignored the feeling, however, the more it overwhelmed his entire being. The paradox became apparent to Reborn in a sudden moment; his fullness came from his emptiness. It was then that Reborn had come into contact with the Watatsumi Sanjin and the Hayabusa Grandmasters of the past. Shunden Hayabusa, Hayate, Jo, and even Ryu were all present before Reborn standing on the other side of a golden sea in a void of blackness.
"Nothing is the parent of all things, and all things is the must return to nothing. Reality is inescapable, for it is always one with nothingness."
Reborn gained the knowledge and all the lifetimes of his ancestors. They spoke of a myriad of things from the history of shinobi to anecdotes from their personal lives that served no point but to regale Reborn about the quarks of his ancestors. While their conversations could last an infinite lifetime, Reborn cut them short, realizing that moment was the sign for him to return to the Hayabusa. As Reborn was readying himself to leave, however, he noticed another individual sleeping at the end of the golden river, huddled in a ball.
When Reborn inquired about that individual, his ancestors looked with slight shame. The story of Mugetsu, the brother of Hayate and the only member of the Head Family to defect was told to Reborn. Despite the hesitance of the ancestors to trust Mugetsu, they were well aware of Reborn's intentions from the beginning. When Reborn left, he took his Great-Grand Uncle Mugetsu with him, but not before stealing Mugetsu's memories of his heritage away from him and keeping them concealed.
"I will hold onto your memories as punishment for your treason. Whenever you remember something, be sure to thank me."
These were not words to be heard but translated to the most intimate part of Mugetsu's being. This was the truth of Reborn's mercy and firmness. Reborn's very first act as a leader was giving a second chance to a fallen angel.

Hayabusa Master: Living up to his ancestors, Reborn has mastered the Hayabusa clan’s abilities beyond any of the current existing members of his clan. While he is the strongest within the clan, Reborn’s pride is his knowledge. In his upbringing, Reborn became a Head Ninja due to his intellect which surpassed even his caretakers. For Reborn, this meant little as he sought after the wisdom of his ancestors. When finally realizing the insignificance of “knowledge” Reborn gained true wisdom. When he returned, his village asked what he had learned. Reborn responded saying he learned nothing and proceeded to teach nothing…
Gear
Legendary Black Falcon Uniform: This is the uniform worn by most modern day Dragon Ninja within the Hayabusa clan. The uniform consists of an aerodynamic sleeveless leather suit with, forearm and shin protectors, open fingered gloves, tabi boots, full shinobi mask that reveals only the eyes, a black/gray scarf, and a metal forehead protector that resembles a falcon. The suit provides protection against small non-chakra infused projectiles. The forearm and shin protectors are capable of protecting against freeform melee weapons of moderate size (katana, scimitars, general swords and bladed weapons). In Reborn's case, his uniform is a sleek dark gray and black version of the Black Falcon. He keeps 12 kunai on his person at all times, six strapped to his legs and six strapped to his torso just on his ribs. He also carries on his back his ancestor's katana which he inherited from his father. The sheathed sword is strapped to his back, wrapped in a kusarigama such that the bladed end of the kusari is at the end of the sheath. The rest of Reborn's weapons are all sealed on his wrists with a sealing technique. When not wearing the black falcon his standard kimono or training gi will always hide a few projectiles and knives. Reborn often changes the meelee weapon he utilizes from his base katana and kusari. Reborn may carry a large scythe, whose blade is almost his size, which he calls the "Eclipse scythe." He has also often used a large bo staff with sharp blades at the end.

The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced and one can unleash a barrage of weapons with great speed in a small time window. Also when a weapon such as a Fūma Shuriken is summoned, the time needed to throw it can be further shortened by having prepared the weapon in fully extended form beforehand. Sasuke even shown that you can have the weapons connected to wires and linked to their sealing marks and used the technique in sealing marks he placed in his wrist bracers.
