[Discussion] Rebecca Future STRAW HAT?

I know. We barely saw her at all, so maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like we can perfectly see what her personality is like and later will developed into just from this chapter. Dramatic past, resentment and desire to kill Donquixote Doflamingo, fully confident in beating strong male characters in order to gain one of the strongest devil fruits, and she's a woman! So this time it's very easy, my candidate for next nakama is Rebecca the gladiator. I mean come on really. She seems to be a good person, she started a relationship/convo with Luffy oh I mean Lucy, and like I said same goal on Don. She seem to fits in pretty well to me. By gaining Luffy's respect through this tournament and most likely the entire arc I believe she will be given an invitation to join the crew. I know we barely know anything about Rebecca so far and we know very little to nothing about her personality really. And I am sure some people that will read this will say that I am wrong and that we have nothing to make any theories off yet. And that's why, every week, the instant a character shows their face before there's even a hint of ability, real past or dream, you insist they're joining? What I have to say to that is I bet back in the day you where the one against Franky joining because of the weird nose and speedo. I just don't understand why people hate and doubt things when a real plausible candidates show up. And no Mone wasn't plausible to me lol. To me Rebecca is what the crew needs. We need a badass women character that can fight hands on and a warrior type sounds perfect. Nami has her weather and Robin has her DF abilities so "Undefeated" so she cant be that weak REBECCA the Gladiator sound like a fit to me. With Jinbe joining nearly set in stone, I would like a woman to complete the group. This doesn't seem far fetched to me really. I mean its not like im not saying she gets the mera mera fruit! lol What do you all think about this? Tell me you opinions please thanks.


Oh and she can help him steal the bronze statue, because as we know Luffy has always wanted to have one on the ship.

i think she has a shot at joining, also i believe if she does luffy will want her to have the mera mera fruit as it will fit so well as the straw hats need or should have a logia and for rebeccae to fight doflamingo she very well may need the mera mera fruit also i cant see any other straw hat having the mera mera as it does suit any of them sanji maybe but still i think this rebecca girl should have it if she joins

For one I looked it up and I only seen one thread on the subject and had a lot to say so I made my own thread. And I expected you to come on here and say something as you spewed you hate of their opinion on their thread as well. I agree she have the freak factor but none of the female characters in the crew have that look. Monet was awesome but never fit in my eyes at all. But like Kurama2012 said I believe if she does join luffy will want her to have the mera mera fruit. Nobody wants a current Straw Hat to have it. And that's a way Luffy can still have the fruit without a member having to get it or constantly protecting it from thief's and enemy's.

Luffy is willing to give it to his crew(he asked Franky right on spot) but I too believe no one will take it.
But as someone else said it's too early,we have to see more of Rebecca.
And don't forget that Luffy asked Jinbei to join them and he said he has some works to take care of first...So he is still a possibility for the crew in the future

She was a freak/weird
Female , the crew needs more female members
Logia fruit user , the crew don't have a logia fruit user yet
She was an astronomer , astronomy has a lot to do with sailing

I don´t like her. Apart from all of that, I think she is weak (I though at first that she is at least somewhat decent, but now I stand corrected, she was most probably a laughing stock for other gladiators), she isn´t a weirdo or special in any sense. If she gets the "Mero Mero" and we see her transformation into something more, well, that´s a completely different story. But now.. meh.

On the other hand, Violet! VIOLET! A gold digger, ruthless, lovable person with big brea... character, that´s something I might and will adore. "I might fall in love with you", "There is a certain person I need you to kill". Just imagine the possibilites with her in the crew! Using everyone like Nami, only better... Yummy. Do want.

Yeap,true story Robin never did anything directly to harm the strawhats...Monet attacked Tashigi and Zoro(foolish girl) with intention to kill them both,that's why I never felt she fit there.
Plus,she looked really selfish and cold to be part of the Mugiwaras!

when zoro was mentioned he sounded terrible

when we saw franky on water 7 he seemed evil

she sacrificed herself to stop doflamingo and caeser
