I like Sarutobi. We just don't have much to go off besides his name "god of shinobi", his fight with Orochimaru, and the fact the he knows every jutsu from Konoha. He's still an old school bad ass, and I think he definitely deserves to be respected. He died for the village, so that's enough for me. Plus he's a kung fu/pole stance master and he has an epic kung fu monkey. He just not really comparable to current plot standards.
