It's no different than that time Obito got him by a rasengan when he said he has all of peins abilities. You see Not the 1st ttime a character wasn't given their full abilities at a given time. I'm not sure why we're having this argument when all you have is circumstantial evidence. By your logic preta can't even absorb rasengan.

As far as I'm concerned, if the databook states Preta can absorb anything and the manga doesn't disprove it, we have to accept the databook is correct. Even if that means that this Jutsu is totally OP.

Madara not using Preta Path in situations where it would've saved him is easily explained with plot induced stupidity (wouldn't be the first instance of it in this manga). It doesn't prove that Preta Path has limits.

As for the Senjutsu part, Pain, who had no experience with natural energy before, could still easily absorb Naruto's attacks. It was only the raw natural energy that he couldn't deal with. But someone like Madara and Sasuke, who both have shown to be capable of handling Senjutsu, should be able to deal with that as well.

All facts that are commonly overlooked by Naruto fanboys who can't accept the truth.

Sasuke got burned from Momoshiki's lava attack..

You'd think if his Preta Path can absorb large scale attacks as you claim, he would have absorbed it with little to no difficulty..

He got seriously burned and only healed from Naruto's chakra cloak..

Sasuke can absorb chakra based attacks alright, but only to some extents.. He can't absorb something like Sage Art: Lava Rasenshuriken, the one that sliced the shinju in half

Hmm, I think there is a limit of absorbed senjutsu chakra one can handle, depending on the user. Also, preta path seems to be able to absorb the chakra from the technique: for example, rasengan is just chakra, hence it all gets sucked in. Same for rasenshuriken. This is supported by Naruto.wikia. But preta path can't absorb the nature energy from the environment, in contrast to a sage, who can absorb it into his own body, mixing it with his own chakra- and the 3 elements (physical/mental/nature energy become one). Preta can absorb this combined chakra of the sage, but can't absorb it if the sage is utilizing the nature energy around, using frog kata for example. It surely is a weak spot of preta, no wonder Naruto knocked it out during the Pein fight with one punch. It's also useless against taijutsu.

The databook states it can absorb any jutsu, but it does not mention it can absorb weapons. Itachi Sword of Totsuka and Yata Mirror are weapons not jutsu.

Doesn't mean anything because the path can't sense the senjutsu being used so it wont absorb it. Secondly you still using Pein as an example shows you troll. It's like you can't read when I say Nagato never encountered senjutsu. The difference would be immense to someone who can actually control senjutsu.

NE is worthless without senjutsu and Preta doesn't absorb NE i agree. But NE is just energy until it's converted into a jutsu or form like sage mode or ninjutsu. Tai works on preta I agree.

Considering we are barely getting any new active members at all, this is the worst idea ever suggested on NB.

 

[Remedy]

1. Ninjustu and Senjusu have no actual handle on Preta Path. As we've seen Preta Path can intake any jutsu but its up to the user to handle the chakra. Madara and Sasuke have both handled senjutsu as opposed to Nagato who has never encountered it before.

@Bold From what we seen, yeah they can absorb most jutsu.

2. Large amounts of senjutsu is not a factor for Preta path users as well. Since Madara is a Juubi Jin and Sasuke has Hagos chakra as well as skill with senjutsu large amounts of senjutsu would just make them stronger.

@Bold Yes it does, what Pain absorbed was already balanced senjutsu, Preta turned to stone.

@Underline Madara is a juubi jin, Sasuke is not. Madara became one with senjutsu, Sasuke did not. Sasuke was given a byproduct and he applied it to a jutsu. Are we going to argue the entire SA are jins that can form tbb because they were given byproduct chakra from Naruto that gave them cloaks?

3. Preta has never failed to absorb ninjutsu bar mokuton wood dragon. All of narutos moves are ninjutsu chakra ball based so preta would defeat all of his moves no problem.

@Bold But the power is still scale based upon consumption, I remember Madara telling Naruto "too much energy"

@Underline, No, not all his moves. He was still able to outclass and defeat Preta with standard SM kumite. With RSM, he is miles ahead from that point.

4. Kind of repeating myself here but CM is senjutsu and the all 9 bijuu and jubbi chakra is senjutsu as well. There is nothing all that special about Narutos moves that stops preta from absorbing it. Thoughts?

@Bold, if all 9 bijuu chakra are balanced senjutsu, then why did Kurama need gather it at Vote 2? if thats the case there was no need to gather it. Conjecture on your part, you have normal bijuu chakra amd senjutsu flipped around.
