you have to realize there has been zero chance for him to develop any other techniques that don't derive from rasengan. what most people don't realize is that most techniques are just variations on another. rasengan itself is an incomplete jutsu and thus only makes since that he continue to make variations on it. think about it, all lightning jutsu are just variations on other lightning jutsu and so on and so forth. but naruto has plenty of jutsu, people just fail to realize it.

It's funny the first jutsu little kid in nv learn is clones. Yet basically not many people good at it, but only a moron can spam it for 600 chapters non stop
