Well I agree imagine Itachi with EMS or rinnegan his taijutsu, regular speed, genjutsu surprise sasuke´s also with yata and totsuka his susanoo surpass every other.

Itachi was the best Uchiha because he portrayed what would've been like if an Uchiha inherited the Will of Fire. Since Uchihas know love better than anyone else, it was apparent that he understood that notion better than Hashirama himself. When Sasuke said Itachi was the true Hokage, his words wouldn't be far from the truth if he ended up living his life under different circumstances.

Never said Itachi was the strongest. He is the only Uchiha that lived and died an Uchiha. No senju dna or augumentations.

I don't really mind "borrowed power" and the strength of a character doesn't interest me that much as well. Itachi is ok imo but I like Sasuke and Madara more because they made the show way more watchable and interesting for me.

The one thing he did have from the senju, is the will of fire. Hes the best Uchiha because he used Uchiha power and no help from the superior Senju clan
