Reasons why giving Minato sage mode are not a good idea....

1. it was out of the blue!? fukasaku never mentioned anything about Minato having sage mode. But only mentioned Jiraiya being one of the only people to use sage mode. If this was planned correctly why wouldn't fukasaku have said Naruto-boy jiraiya was good but Minato mastered it completely? Or not to mention minato having it?

2. I look at all the hokages. (minato and naruto in general) and I want each of them to be unique in jutsu. The main thing that kept naruto and Minato apart was senjutsu. but..... well.... ya know

3. it doesn't make sense: Minato thinking wow naruto mastered the same senjutsu as jiraiya sensei. (but didn't say like himself) And naruto saying that he would be the one to add senjutsu to a tailed beast bomb.(but minato can use senjutsu why just naruto?)

4. Even without having minato with senjutsu. Minato about to connect with rasengan (even tho it would be absorbed) is still a pretty awesome. Whether he were to have sage mode or not it would still be one hell of an effort.

5. it makes sage mode less impressive with the amount of people that know how to use it. Minato has FTG and rasengan that's your strength and speed right there!!! Let's see a different kind of sage mode or let's see no more. Sage mode is awesome but let's make sage mode out to be a rare skill okay?

awkward how he mostly meet the toads before since he can summon them and his master is a sage you just didnt think about it

People think I'm so against, ranting, or having serious problems with Minato havin sage mode. I don't have a problem with it. Just it's something I wouldn't do. And about the grammar. It's not like this is english class. As long as you can make it out it's fine. And a "hate thread" no my friend. I'm not hating. I just respectfully disagree and I've accepted minato having sage mode.

To be honest most of people were expecting him to have sage mode before he got to the battlefield because of contract with toads... but after he showed BM, the possibility of sage mode went outta the window....! when minato 1st went KCM, i personally commented somewhere that he should have had SM instead of KM...! and i'm happy that finally kishi did it...! although the statement minato made about it being jiraya's jutsu was awkward...! it was outta the blue, no doubt about that but being his fan i still like it...! :win:

well it was hinted at that he had it when fukasaku stated "he surpassed the two" and shown minato and jiraiya this is what prompted many to claim minato had it to begin with and as for reasons why he didn't use sage mode at crucial points in the story could come down to many things, gathering senjutsu is a lengthy procedure so in the heat of battle such as against tobi who can move with space-time jutsu would be to wise plus minato didn't need sm at that point or maybe minato can't handle sage mode for a long time and a burst of sage mode is all he can handle so why go sage mode when you can use narutos who has mastered sage mode to such extent.
