I just don't understand why they will make Naruto wait to be the Hokage.

He has both military power and political influence to become the next Hokage right now.

He's the strongest Ninja alive.

Saved Konoha from Pain and have the most relevant role in the war.

He's respected by the people of Konoha as a Hero.

Extremely respected by The Kazegaki Gaara.

Extremely respected by Killer Bee (probably the next Raikage).

Have the respect of Ônoki too.

I don't think Kakashi is better politically related than Naruto, and he is a lot weaker too.

Probably because he's too young, which doesn't make sense because Gaara is the same age as Naruto, and he's a kage.

gaara and naruto are the same age but mentally gaara is far more settled than naruto.right now naruto is just a loud fist. Gaara has a more political and intelligent mind. For that reason the more intelligent and more experienced kakashi is hokage until naruto truly matures

Omfg. Its obvious why. He isnt mature enough. Gaara is the same age but has the maturity of a person twice his age.

Naruto still has the mindset of a kid. He also doesnt have the experience as a leader.

He'll get it eventually. Just not now

Lel, people are saying he's immature when: He connected to the most people in the series. The one who united the Shinobi alliance, befriended the Biju, got Hagaromo to entrust the Biju with him, and even persuaded Obito to betray Madara. Yet somehow he's too childish.

What does immaturity have to do with being connected with people? You made no sense at all

Gaara actually rose up the ranks of his village's hierarchy ... Naruto is yet to learn the intricacies of administration to take up the mantle.

lol Naruto is still Genin almost everyone forgot this point . Rules cannot mend just because he is hero of Shinobi World .

He has to learn art of administration and respect the rules of ranking.

It's because the Daiymo won't particularly agree to let a *Teenager* lead the village of a Land. Not to mention it would drop the standards for future Hokage's. Oh Naruto was the Hokage wasn't he? Why not let a 16 year old become one?

That sort of mindset, I'm sure he'll become Hokage at 20+, if not, then something is wrong with Kishi and the World.

well the sand didn't have a problem with it.

i think naruto needs to learn a little more about how to actually govern a village before they let him be hokage. otherwise he already has all the prerequisites to actually become one.

You see the problem with that statement is the Village Hidden in the Wind had no other choice BUT Gaara. No one else was physically stronger to take the mantle, and Gaara must have won the hearts of his people once he returned after the Chunin/Leaf - Sand War Arc.

Konohagakure has many choices: Tsunade and Kakashi (Who was the first choice even after Naruto saved the village)

If both were incapable or if Kakashi had turned it down, then it might have of led to Naruto.

Let's not even mention the different personalities and maturities that separate Naruto & Gaara as leaders. Naruto is ready physically and he has shown to bring people together, BUT he still needs to grow. Which is what makes the manga interesting for us to continue to see our MC to reach his goals.

Edit; I didn't read your post all the way so sorry if I repeated what you said, I'm just really tired.
