Reasons I dislike Sasuke

Agreed exponentially. Sasuke Uchiha is a very poor character and a disgrace to his archetype. Not shocking considering the genre, but he's abysmal even by shonen standards of writing.

Minato, Orochimaru, Lee, Guy, Obito, Neji, Itachi have all acknowledged sasuke as a genius and they are all smarter than you so your point for hating is irrelevant

The thread went right over your heads. Sasuke was called a genius all the way back in the academy, for no reason at all.

"Genius" in this manga is used to describe ability not intellect. Example, Lee was called a genius because he could run really fast. So let's not confuse the two. In other words a better English translation would be "talented".

Well, the only person that I would put Sasuke above would be Neji and that is because even though Neji was smarter, Neji was a year older with mor experience. Sasuke a month later got 3T

Shikamaru was an intellectual genius as a genin
So was Kakashi who was a jounin at Sasuke's age.
Itachi was an Anbu at that age
I think Minato knew FTG at that age

Neji, Shikamaru, and even Kakashi were not smarter than Sasuke, and certainly not Minato. Shikamaru outright said that he considered Sasuke 'perfect in just about everything he did'. Neji was a year senior, yet it only took Sasuke few weeks to surpass their group? Come on!

Kakashi cannot beat any version of Sasuke since his intro. That is a fact and I have debated on this as well. What are Minato's intelligence feats?

I gave the position to Minato purely because he was proficient in fuinjutsu as a child. I can't see Sasuke getting past a FTG user

My point was that as an anbu Itachi was already considered one of the village elite.

As far as Shikamaru goes if you think Sasuke is smarter then idc. I don't really have the drive to defend a character that I have 0 interest in and had paid the minimal attention to since I started watching this series.

He may be smart, but he is also naive and arrogant, which makes him seem less intelligent.
