sasutards only like sasuke because of his power and design. they don't give two dragon testicles about his character, though.

I give a lot of dragon testicles to his personality and character more than his power and design. Sasuke is way more complex and deep compared many characters in the Naruto verse imo, which is why some people tend to misunderstand his character without putting effort into fully understanding the character.

OT: This isn't why he actually is a bad character, this is why you think he is a bad character. You're not really proving anything but your biased thoughts on why you think he's so bad, which wedunrrlycare. :|

Are you serious. Sasuke is a genius. He mastered lightning, mastered Susano, mastered enton, and has amazing skill and he is still a teenager. Minato, Orochimaru, Tsunade did their best work when they were adults. Sasuke is pretty skilled as a ninja he deserves to be called a genius.

english is not my first language so it may seem kinda messy.

The only reason why I can't take Sasuke serious as a character, let alone Naruto's rival.

He lowered the bar for "Geniuses"

That can't even be argued, because he did. People still try and claim him off as a prodigy, or as one of the smartest characters in the manga. He isn't though.

In part 1 he was the top shinobi in the class... that's all that you need to be a prodigy? He tossed shuriken better than anyone else and new one jutsu so he's a prodigy forever?

Here's just a few people that are Real geniuses. That actually deserve the title and stand out from the rest.

In no particular order

Minato - Learned everything at an unprecedented rate, created the Rasengan the highest form of shape manipulation. Learning and altering the FTG seal and learning numerous advanced seals making him a seal master.

Orochimaru- His work speaks for itself.

Tobirama - Same as Orochimaru, I don't even have to mention it.

Itachi - Anbu captain at age 13, skills that put a jonin to shame at age 8.

Obito - Was the worst student in his class, but managed to learn everything taught to him by Madara Uchiha a legendary shinobi.

Neji - Practicly masted the Leaf villages strongest Taijutsu as a genin, While being a branch member.

Gai and Lee - Gates, nuff said

Tsunade - Revolutionized the Shinobi system, the mother of all healing jutsus.

And then there's Sasuske... - learned the fireball jutsu and was good at throwing shuriken.

Convince me Sasuke deserved the title prodigy in part 1.


Tell me if I'm bashing.

Defeated someone who babyshook gated lee.

Held off the sound four alone, albeit not being seriously fought.

Had Jonin level katon's at thirteen.

Learned an S- Rank Jutsu @13

Was an Uchiha

cuz kb isn't genin level jutsu like fireball.

Fireball is far from genin level. That's reserved for jutsu like Sexy Jutsu.

Fireball jutsu is a B-Rank Katon (C-Rank by some sources) it is an advanced technique, but uchiha are geniuses

You know what I find very interesting?

In the 'reasons why I dislike naruto' thread, we have tons of members picking apart the OP paragraph by paragraph and giving indepth rebuttals for how his reasoning is flawed or how the facts he brings to the table are outright false.

However in this thread what do we have? Just very short one-line phrases equivalent that don't bring any substance other than name-calling the OP with an exception of a very small number of posts that still barely exceed a few sentences.

Didn't you see his fight with Orochimaru? How quickly he learned Chidori? The Uchiha Shuriken techniques? His mimicking Lee's taijutsu.
As a genin Itachi>Minato>Kakashi>Shikamaru>Neji>Sasuke

Sasuke is still a genin o_o

Also Vote Sasuke destroys every genin on that list. Arguably Itachi though

He wasn't an uchiha? He didn't learn chidori? He didn't defeat non transformed gaara? He didn't win a scuffle with the sound four? Phoenix flower, fireball, and the wire fire jutsu weren't learned?

This and if anything, it actually seems like he is raising the bar. Except for Neji and Lee, everyone else has had years to become the geniuses they are currently. I hope you realize he is 17 years old and for that age you're expecting too much.

Neji and Lee are also a year older

narutards tend to be more dedicated to trying to make their fav look flawless compared to sasutards - who really don't gaf.

I get your point, before upgrades and skill development he did not strike as much of a genius. But considering most academy kids barely did bunshins he was impressive, what mainly count are his later upgrades.

What i do not get is how this is a reason to dislike a character. Does not seem much of a big thing for a character who is developed in other ways, and they are hype/portrayal traits rather than characteristic.
