Mastered 3 other shape manipulations based off chidori. Becoming skilled at Enton mid battle. Tamed lightning. Was more adept at Amaterasu than Itachi.

Sasuke definitely isn't the near the top genius, but what Sasuke accels in is ninjutsu knowledge. I don't think there is anyone his age that is above him in that regard.

This thread is at least more reasonable than what was done by HF. I will give u rep just for that.

This and if anything, it actually seems like he is raising the bar. Except for Neji and Lee, everyone else has had years to become the geniuses they are currently. I hope you realize he is 17 years old and for that age you're expecting too much.

Think about the word GENIUS. What have they ever done to get that title? Just because they created jutsu's doesn't make them einstein.

why was minato called a genius?, why obito? why lee?... with your logic the only geniuses in naruto are shikamaru,orochimaru and tobirama

I never even looked at his opinion. I judged him by his past actions and viewpoints. I welcome differences in opinions, but I don't like bashing

At the academy children's chakra wasn't even developed enough to use elemental jutsu, and his shuriken jutsu was at the top of the class. Also during the bell test he was the one that got closest to getting the bell with pure taijutsu. Being called a genius at the academy isn't really such a big deal. Sasuke was just at the top of the class and above his level for his age, that is pretty much it.

This isnt batman, bill gates and elliot zuckerberg had to think and train to get were they are now, does that mean they arent geniuses?

sasuke is not only gifted, he's a genius, and the funny fact is that he's still really young compared to almost all of them

Sasuke is as much of a genius as Obito. He was a hard worker until he unlocked the sharingan, then his motivation pushed him to impeccable levels.

He went from Chuunin level to Low Kage level in less than 3 years with a teacher far worst than Madara.

Obito isnt a genius, he was utter fodder until he saw rin die and gained ms by the power of butthurt, same with sasuke

I didn't put in steve jobs, but Bill Gates stole from Apple when it came to the GUI of Windows 95 which is what made Microsoft.

Isn't the manga's definition of a genius a person who learns stuff extremely quickly? from what I remember, Sasuke did learn stuff very quickly. For instance, it took Sasuke only a few days to get nature manipulation down something Kakashi stated should take a number of years for a shinobi to master.

So i think sasuke is a genius by manga definition.
