Is a result from a bad head injury inflicted by Naruto. What leads me to this is because stated in 695 they now fully understand each other therefor they know their power. Back in part one Sasuke stated that Naruto was not his equal. That he didnt have to wear his forhead protector because Naruto wouldnt be able to land a hit on him. Seen here

I think Naruto wants to prove they are equals and inflicts damage to his head to remind him of the past.

But even if he'd hit him, Sasuke would accept it and therefore not wear anything on his head, to show Naruto respect.

Lel as Blazing said he will die if he gets hit by Naruto directly......unless Kishi is inconsistent once again and there is a lot of PIS and CIS involved. :|
Actually BM Naruto's headbutt should have killed Obito too, unless his head is made up of something else entirely. :|

I like your thinking here; but I think this was already decided in their first fight when sasuke gave in and put the headband on.

That was when he acknowledged naruto, so I feel like the headband/no headband thing is already resolved.
