Kind of weird that he had a two and one tomoe sharingan pair now that I think about it.

I was speaking about tomoes awakening in general. Maybe Kishi couldn't come up with more than 2 situations for Obito, so he made him awake 2T and then MS, while for Sasuke he had more ideas so he went through the full process 1T->2T->3T->MS.

Only madara unlocked 1T at similar age as obito an was not only indra but was way more powerful than him.

MS likely auto-unlocks the rest by unlocking the dormant chakra instantly.

That was never the point , and itachi likely unlocked his at a way younger age.

The point is that everybody unlocked 1t while Obitz unlocked 2.

Lol she would have to have unlocked it right at that moment , which was impossible since she unlocked it before the meeting.

Also if my claim is correct it would likely have taken sarada trying to save her fathers life to unlock 2T one-shot.

Yep , determination is all a part of the Love/Hate power of the uchiha , but strong determination will push is faster and farther when combined with the emotion.

PLot is the reason.

Which is why i read the plot to find the reason , see the correlation?

Manga disagrees with u , Sasuke gained 3T due to his determination towards cutting the strong brotherly bond he felt with Naruto , kishi even says it.

Sasuke awakened 3T because of his EMOTIONS, the emotion Uchiha feels is responsible for them awakening dojutsu NOT the determination. An Uchiha can't decide how emotional they react to an event.

Obito awakened 2T because he was more emotionally sensitive than Madara and Sasuke who awakened 1T. He cried over petty stuff like not being able to impress Rin.
