Reason why nagato couldn't make chibaku tensei so big

His Chibaku is lame, madara created 2 5x bigger meteors in 2 seconds without blink in his eyes, and Nagato created 1, in a whole episode with blood puking out of his mouth.. So ye that's the difference between Uzumaki and Uchiha in Rinnegan.. Anyway that madara's meteor may not be Chibaku, but, what could it be then ?

Madara did some sort of meteor summon jutsu, the only reason he was able to do it was because he was an edo and it would be suicide if he wasn't, Nagato did it on a smaller scale but i'm sure he can do something similar if it wasn't guaranteed death.
