Well a plot needs a storyline and they fucked up the moment they gave a 13 year old kid the power to travel pocket dimensions. Dimensional travels in not only the manga-world but also the comic-world is known to be an interstellar type threat depending on the character.
Kishi dug himself into a hole with that one. He should've just stuck to the actual Madara.

I think its funny because in storm 4 when selecting any tobi character the obito characters dont get grayed out. If you dont play the game when a character gets grayed out its because you've already picked another version of that same character. But whenever you pick one of the tobi characters the obito characters dont get grayed out, which is strange, because from a fan and customer of bandai and naruto, it seems odd. A canon stand point when picking either tobi or obito both of which should get grayed out, but they dont, so to me it puts what i thought was canon into question.

what would have actually made it perfect was if Madara wiped his mind and later on Obito regained it back. Would have redeemed it logically.

There's a theory that spiral zetsu took influence over Obito's brain, that could be plausible too. Just try not to focus on the character development as much when it comes to a character you don't like, and focus on the powers that guy has to make your real favs look better if they are associated with each other.
