I'd agree if he wasn't portrayed as this awful father. A decade's worth of absence from someone who can teleport makes no sense, so the whole notion he "cares" for his family, even if it is true, is forced, just as the SasuNaru bond or the Naruto-Neji bond is forced and unbelievable. It also doesn't help that neither party has any explained reason as to care for each other, and in fact the opposite is.
I'm not a Sakura fan, I dont need to tell you that, but I do like Sasuke, and its annoying how his character ended up in such a bad, if not horrible possession just to have a next gen Uchiha and please SS fans when Salad being an Uchiha/Uzumaki clone that was made by Orochimaru in the same vein as her team mate Mitsuki w/o Sasuke/Karin's knowledge and later found and adopted by Sakura would have been far more interesting, believable, in character for all parties involved, would provide better potential for future character development, and would be positive development itself for both Sakura and Salad, but instead the whole plot of Gaiden falls apart just to please SS fans. I'm still hoping both Sasuke/Sakura know more than they're telling and that Salad is in fact a clone.

So he didn't create his own Rasengans against Kurama? (each clone had a rasengan btw). There is no way I'm letting say he used his own Chakra when bro built up ninetails chakra each time he was calling for the chief toad in part 1. (The jiraiya training, then the itachi and Kisame encounter.) I'd say the onl time in part one he used his own was the mission before Sauce left the village.
