I'm just going to assume that Sasuke didn't use a Sasunoo arm because one it's homage to the iruka/ Naruto moment in pt. 1
Two using your body as a shield makes the defensive tactic seem that much more emotional for Sarada

Also Kishi had been making an absolute fool of Sakura in recent chapters and he wanted to grant her redemption (femme)
With the magnificent solo punch she landed

Questions:
Why doesn't Naruto use clones to train like in pt. 2
Maybe he's grown out of spamming shadow clones?
