Can we possibly check out the reason behind any thread closed down's status anywhere besides the "closed thread" title for convenience?

A good idea.
Sometimes the OP has nothing to do behind the reason why the thread was closed. It might be from ppl who posted in it or some other random & uncontrollable factor.
So having the reason on it seems fair.(like the feature that we have after we edit our post)

threads are always closed for a reason,be it too much spam,or a question has been answered, ect ect....theres no point arguing a closed thread because mods and admins always have a valid reason for closing a thread, most of the time they will post why its being closed, but they always have a reason wether they say so or not..

If it's your thread, you can ask. If it's not your thread, it's not really your problem even if you were enjoying it or participating in it. I say this because it would be awful annoying to permit every member to question why every thread is closed. Believe it or not, there are members who, because they feel some sort of 'injustice' was done to them, will go out of their way and take it upon themselves to take advantage of being permitted to do so as a way of annoying the staff members. I can't tell you enough how annoying it is to have your every action questioned by some vindictive person who has some twisted sense of 'justice,' and who will cry bloody murder if your start ignoring their questions (by saying, "I was asking a legitimate question and I DESERVE to be answered... it doesn't matter that I asked the same questions about 15 OTHER threads in the last 30 minutes).

Yes, I know, I sound bitter but I know this happens here and in the regular world and I personally find it plain annoying. Don't know why people feel entitled to constantly question the actions of others who are simply doing their job. Micro-managing is a form of torture in my opinion lol. Life lesson of the day: You'll always have people who THINK they know how to do something better than you, when often times, they are clueless. ;)

That is my opinion on the subject anyway. I personally wouldn't want to empower EVERYONE to question my actions/motivations in regards to another person.

With the amount of threads we close, you cannot expect us to message each thread owner or wtv about the reason the thread was closed. This said, we sometimes close multiple threads at once, specially in critical areas such as naruto media, making the act of posting in the thread to explain why it was closed quite counterproductive. If you feel strongly about it, ask one of the mods that moderates the area the thread is in and he will tell you if he has the time. But bare in mind that 98% of the time, the reason a thread was closed is easily noticeable and generally falls under the following:

-Same thread was made before.
-Spam in the thread beyond the reasonable controllable level.
-Thread became filled with trolling or flaming posts.
-Threads purpose was accomplished and there was no point in leaving it open any longer.
-Generic rule breaking.

Also, just a reminder, we don't close threads "just because". Closing a thread always has a reason.
