Arctic Monkeys never really went away but they're more a 00s night material at clubs and stuff. You wouldn't hear them on the radio anymore. Brainstorm and D is for Dangerous are killer.

Sakura goes well with anyone, but she is literally the only one skilled enough to be paired with Naruto and Sasuke.
Because she has and equally rare ability (perfect chakra control) and unlimted potential.

Hiruzen probably knew that Sakura was a Tsunade. Sakura in part 1 was Jonin level, but simply a blank canvas.

Ino and Naruto would never work, they are two sensors.

The dynamic between team 7 and INOShikaCho where the best one.

Sakura= Mind Power (Highly Intellegence (Sasuke stated that it was superior to his sharingan), Genjutsu Resistance (Sasuke said it was superior to his sharingan), Strong Will, Pefect Control of her Chakra)
Naruto= Physical Power (Raw Stamina, Indurance, A Level of Durability)
Sasuke= Both but limited ( Eyes grants both power and mental prowess)

The problem wasn't Hiruzen, it was Kakashi, he put Sakura with him because he knew so many jutsu, and he didn't do a thing.

Shikamaru(bind people), shino(great distractions/devour chakra etc)and Hinata although I don't rate her highly however in this team even with base jyuken she'd be lethal. This would also allow her to develop confidence and skills in real life combat situations to a higher degree. This would definitely be a well rounded team.

Ps. Your ignoring the fact that Sai wasn't a member early on when teams would've been formulated. Naruto's team was also formulated to cover for his fodder.
