...Naruto and Sasuke without Hagoromo's power can prevail against Hashirama and Madara? In whichever scenario. Naruto vs. Hashirama, Naruto vs. Madara, Sasuke vs. Hashirama, Sasuke vs. Madara.

I didn't put this in the battle section because I want to talk about the depiction of their powers throughout this manga. Honestly, I just don't see it. I just don't see that Naruto and Sasuke could really beat Hashirama and Madara. Why? Because Hashirama and Madara were so powerfully characterized as people who do things that are considered extraordinary even among extraordinary.

The powers that Naruto and Sasuke got or that ascended them to another level just don't seem up to par with their predecessors. Don't get me wrong, I defend Naruto's accomplishments and I think he's awesome in every aspect, but Hashirama was proclaimed the God of Shinobi. The same could be said for Sasuke and Madara. The characterization of Naruto and Sasuke in terms of overall ability and power pales a lot in comparison to Hashirama's and Madara's.

Well, I meant that the battles were 1 on 1, but I'd say it was 2 on 2, Hashirama and Madara would easily find a way to counter it.

No way, FRS + Enton arrows barrage will make problem for Hashirama. EMS Sasuke acting as distraction and BSM blitzing shooting TBB point blank. Hashirama is done for.

BSM Naruto only advantage over Hashirama is massive speed advantage. essentialy any attack used by Naruto wil be faster then hashirama's so he can be taken out before he can counter

Hashirama is the worst possible opponent for BSM Naruto. His Mokuton suppresses Jinchuriki.

The time spent training and gaining valuable combat experience is thousand fold over Naruto and Sasuke who spent their childhood 'playing ninja' in the leaf. Also once peace was achieved Madara and Hahi continued to battle with each other to the death, each time having to grow stronger out of neccesity to win the next round.

If you think of all those factors and then look at Naruto as a teenager goofing around the leaf, it's no wonder hashirama and madara are revered as highly as they are. The shinobi system they created was intended to stop child soldiers being bred for war. The power levels therefore are obviously gonna be different.

But Naruto and Sasuke in a short space of time + combined help of their masters have closed the skill gap pretty quickly i'd say.

Also take into account how much older hashi and madara are compared to Naruto and Sasuke.

Yeah, this is a nice post. I share the same opinion. Being raised in the war periods certainly adds more to their experience and overall battle ability. Something that Naruto and Sasuke don't know.

Hashirama and Madara are older though, and have more experience with their powers. So yes, Hashi or Mads would beat pre hagaromo powered Naruto/sasuke. However, I think that EMS Sasuke and BSM naruto(pre hagaromo powerup for both) are more powerful than Hashirama and Madara were at the same age; and would eventually have surpassed them, regardless of whether they received Hagaromo's blessings or not.
