Realistic Kakashi Analysis

Let's get this straight, Kakashi is one of my favorite characters in all of Naruto. Recently I keep seeing threads from fellow Kakashi fanboys that make it so he's some sort of invincible god-like warrior that will obliterate everything in sight. All I ask is for your opinions on whether he held in too high of esteem, or not enough esteem.

My Opinion:

Kakashi is an advance ninja of his level, taking on Bijuus, the 7 ninja swordsmen of the mist etc etc etc. He does have his moments of greatness and moments that arent so great "Defeat against Pain"

So, you're saying you don't agree that he's going to defeat the Juubi, Tobi and Madara all by himself?

But on a serious note, I'll never understand how his "defeat against Pain" is a moment that isn't so great, considering before backup arrived he had the fight won.

Kakashi is pretty well known throughout the nations. I'd say that it's well earned too... his strategies are top-notch and he's filled with ninjutsu to use when needed. Remember that a skilled assassination can kill enemies that are on a much higher tier than the assassin. Let's face it: he was the man when fighting the swordsmen.

This thread is prolly just me butthurt about Kishi not showing Kakashi's Rampage.

Well have faith - the anime might be able to add the parts that Kishimoto wasn't able to fill in himself. Of course people wouldn't consider it canon but fiction is fiction after all; it's for your amusement.

Whether you think highly of Kakashi, or think he's nothing special, we all have to come to the conclusion that he is merely a high level SUB CHARACTER. Aside from Madara and a few others. If you are not a main character like Naruto, Sasuke, Tobi, Oro etc, we will probably never know you're full potential. The fact that Kakashi was asked to be the next Hokage, and was very unwilling to take up that role. Basically sums up his importance in this manga which is... very important!!! But not important enough to overcome the story lines of Naruto and Sasuke, etc etc.
