Honestly, i think shikamaru was hinted at hokage a couple times. Kakashi would make a great hokage but he doesn't want it. I don't think naruto is ready to be hokege. Sasuke still has issues. Izuna isn't strong enough, and guy is too forgetful. Sakura is really smart, she might make a good hokage also.

Guy would be good part of an advisory team, but not Hokage. Oro and Sasuke have the qualities needed to be Hokage, but their priorities are too twisted to be considered candidates. I agree with the rest though

The best choice of hokage would be a older shikamaru (if Kakashi is not counted of course). Now the reason why i say a older instead of current shikamaru is because even though he might have the mind (far surpass actually) of that of a hokage/kage, he is just not powerful enough to become one at the moment. If he becomes just slightly stronger in the high jounin-low kage level of power, then he will be the perfect candidate.
