Real villains/ bad guys

you gotta admit you don't watch the series or read the manga because of the heroes no more, you wanna know what the villains gonna do next.

The series only have two honest to heart villains, what i mean is these two guys don't care about who die, they don't wanna avenge nobody they loved, they're just the real definition of a villian.

1. Madara---the guy just wanna be powerful destroy the leaf village simple as that

2. Orochimaru---This guy is just the real definition of evil and a villain, the guy kill without remorse uses other ninja and villages like pawn, and all that is just so he could be immortal. And i know alot of you was excited to see him come back to life.

But when you got these to villains and others like hidan who just wanna kill and destroy everything...kakuzu only cares bout money fudge everything else...this makes the series all the more interesting

There is no "real" definition if a villian. There are many types of villians, some of whom even fit the role of heroes in some respects.

For Example: Obito is a Tragic Hero/Villian depending on how one views it. The same applies to Nagato, Itachi, and Sasuke. To learn more about the specific tropes, go to TvTropes.

And agreed, he has absolutely no other ulterior motive other than personifying himself for eternity by whatever means. Kinda puts th evil mark on him like he puts curse marks.


All other villains are either power-lusted, vengeful, or plain crazy... not so evil IMO.

a villain is basically somebody who is just bad for the sake of being bad....obito dont fit the description his whole purpose is revenge...nagato is the same thing...saskue aint no differet...itachi was only played out to be a villain...thats why so far only orochimaru and madara fit the discription...

Sasori - Did it b/c of lack of parental love
Deidara - To show his art
Nagato - For Peace
Konan - For Nagato
Itachi - For his brother
Kisame - To make a world without lies
Obito - For peace
Madara - For power
Oro - For immortality and for knowledge
Sasuke - To avenge his clan and later to avenge his brother

Only Orochimaru and Madara seem the slightest bit evil. Oro more because of the human testing.

Jk, I would say you're right, every time I wait for a chapter I have to consider what the villain will do next. But also, in doing that you kind of consider the heros too by default...

Yeah I agree. I don't see why everyone is definining villainy as doing things on the scale of Oro. Sure, people like Oro and Madara are the most villainous, but that doesn't invalidate the others totally.
But TV Tropes...once you go in you may not come out lol.

Again, a villain in the literary sense does not fit that description. A villain is simply a character who performs malicious actions throughout the story. Even the protagonist can be a villain.

When did Madara say that he wants to destroy Konoha? Nah, he's just power hungry, he wants the Juubi for himself to be the most powerful man alive.. well, he wants to be alive too, no Edo Tensei.

He is the most malicious yes, but even he was given "humanization" with his back story about his parents dying from the war that started his obsession with immortality, he even shed a tear for Tsunade when he saw her in agony over her lover's death
