No we get mostly get battles more than flashback but the flashback add more revealing and indepth of the plot
We just don;t want flashback that are repetitive...
Well I won't say I dislike fillers in general. But there are times where they make me mad. I only ever get mad at certain ones though; the ones that try to explain the details that lead up to major events in the manga. The reason I get mad at them sometimes is because they usually end up making a ninja seem like he/she has very poor judgement and a lot of times I think the stupid mistake that they makes seems a little out of character you know?
Take today's two episodes for example. I enjoyed the hell out of the Kakashi anbu fillers...until these two episodes came out. I mean, the ending just didn't seem really fair to Kakashi. These fillers were basically shown to tell us how Oro escaped the borders or whatever, and he pretty much escaped the borders because of a simple, yet stupid mistake Kakashi makes. Yukimi was the key to Oro being able to leave the borders right? Well why would you want to bring her right to him? Why not let her escape or even better bring her back to the village?
I know the objective was to capture Oro, but it was also an objective not to allow him to cross the borders. Kakashi was holding in his hands Oro's only way out. Not only that, but Oro was dripping blood and dying anyway. Had he just kept Yukimi away from Oro rather than be so hasty in trying to capture him right then, he could've had Oro securely contained within the borders in addition to not being able to travel very far very fast, so Oro would've been trapped with no way out and the search could've continued on for him. Either he would've been captured or died from blood loss. I know this is technically "kid Kakashi" but still that mistake lead to Oro escaping and attacking the village down the road. I just think it sucks for him a little is all

Oh yes, and you know what the biggest thing that I`m looking forward the most in the Juubi arc is hopefully more Filler Padding especially when it comes to my favorite character Neji. I want to see him go all out against the Juubi, with countering Wood Spears with Jyuken and Heavenly Rotation similar fight with Kidomaru.
I want his extension fight with these Juubi going all out before he dies so that I can feel emotion that runs through my body giving great amount of development unlike in the manga, he randomly and got trolled hard!
They could've done the war episodes that actually belong in the war arc better . Seven Swordsmen & they could've made filler for each Jinchuriki & Bijuu during their deaths time lines. They could've let Mangetsu fight. They could've made some good horror filler that made Zetsu appear to be stronger than they are or at least live up to their potential. They could've done a lot better than what they did. A lot better.

WTF are you talking about?? We had some good war fillers, only half of em are good while others are bad. But you're right, they wasted so much trash episode when they could made the war arc alot better, like they give Mangetsu fight
Firstly, I follow both the Naruto Manga and Anime. As a Naruto Fan I just simply like everything that is. . . Naruto. 
Second, I like the "spotlight" thing you mentioned. I really like it when other characters, other than the main ones (actually all characters), get flashbacks or whatever. It just simply expands the universe of Naruto. . . mostly I like it cuz it's a benefit for my Naruto Timeline. :heh:
But third, while all this is very good, there is one thing not so much good. . . which I personally don't like. . . at all. . . It's the simple fact that fillers are not Canon! :erm: S**t is just written by some morons and not by the actual author him self, Masashi Kishimoto. . . it might seem dumb to some, but it's the truth. . . Believe It! :yeah:

I'm glad there is someone had this same passion with Naruto as I have, I mean I'm always so obseesed with all these naruto characters for the most part cause they're likable in my eyes and they're necessary even irrelavant characters like Tenten which Is why I'm always obsessed with having fillers for the most part if it has done right like the recent filler we have cause there are so many misses opportunities in the manga.
The thing is I don't care if is filler, I consider as canon cause they're mostly relavant even it's non related fillers like Chikara arc or that sad filler with Rock lee and Chen in the war, I'll still watch it cause I find it enjoyable.

fillers are good as long as there is a reason for them to be made. (not because anime is catching the manga)
But seriously I was also disappointed because of some fillers which are unnecessarily made.
The animators are trying sooooooooooooo hard to make us laugh through a filler but I can't even smile while watching some crap. U_U
