so apparently a real life purge happened in louisville, ky. it was called the Louisville Purge and it took place on August 15. here are some news articles about what happened. Just thought i would share. i cant believe idiots would actually do this.

i am not sure about people getting killed but stores are getting robbed and since its going on right now i cant saw what actually happened and what was just a lie

It isn't based on logic or understanding of human nature. Giving in to those most primal, animalistic urges only creates a stronger drive to recommit those acts. People would grow more and more desensitized and apathetic to human suffering, and eventually would no longer restrain themselves to just "purge day." Peace can only be achieved by peace.
