When the incarnates of Indra and Asura accomplished and experienced things or made different decisions, how do you think Indra and Asura reacted watching from the inside of their hosts?

Was it really a bad idea for Itachi to care about the village? I mean if people had to choose between having chaos and anarchy or a peaceful existance, then most would choose the village right?

Reincarnating is typically dying and being born someone else.

Meaning, they WERE asura and indra...now they've been wiped clean of those memories, and have become sasuke and naruto. They simply ARE the spirits, in new bodies, with new memories. Simple.

Basically this. And when Hagormoo saw Ashura's spirit in Naruto its expression looked like it was just concerned.
Indra would be disappointed in Madara but content with Sasuke pre VoTe2.
