I have a feeling orochimaru has more to do with these current events than we have been led on to believe , him and kabuto where definitely onto something always seeking out sasuke and his eyes he must of known of the transformation into rinnegan a lot earlier somehow maybe even pre shippuden possibly , And know with what suigetsu's found its like orochimaru knew what was going to happen , What could of orochimaru left behind that would be able to change this war , Maybe everything's going to a plan maybe he knew sasuke would betray him and left Kabuto Details on what to do and how to bring him back ? , and know itachis heading for kabuto maybe he has a plane to get orochimaru back .
Somehow im certain that he will come back if not his for sure instigating all this through kabuto Via instructions or stuff he told him
