Shino's only hope is to try and engluf neji which would just result in a rotation.

Why does he have to engulf neji? Neji would deplete his own chakra trying to keep bugs off... If he went in groups of 10 bugs and used them right he would easily outlast.

Shino knows Neji.. He would not send all bugs at once nor would he put them in range of rotation at all times either.

Honestly you guys act as if Shino has endless amounts of insects plus he's just a genin. If it were that easy why didn't he swarm kankuro when they fought?

you do not get the point. Neji would run out of chakra before killing them all. He carries in 1000's groups of tens would require 100 rotations or gentle fists. He did not use that many against the spiders collectively. He would run out of chakra IMO. He WAS called that until chunin exams. He is fodder compared to Gaara and even lost to naruto.. By an underground attack.. Shino is much better at concealed attacks too.

*sigh* uhm i'm saying it's highly illogical that neji could palm every single bug when he had difficulty keeping up with kidomaru's spiders (that were limited, might i add).

he probably didn't swarm kankuro because he has access to quick comebacks, such as poison bombs, exploding bombs, etc. neji doesn't have those. it was also a high possibility that the kankuro could have been a clone. neji hasn't shown feats of using clones before. not saying he can't. just saying. ultimately, kankuro was swarmed. it doesn't matter when the swarm will come. because ultimately it will come. you see he swarmed tobi. it just depends on the situation, environment, etc.

neji obviously wasn't the #1 genin because naruto beat him. -_- people "call" people a lot of things. the hyuga clan was/is the strongest clan in the leaf, simply because of numbers/history.

No, you do not know how to read. I said he is fodder to garra. He also lost to Naruto. But in all actuality he is fodder to naruto. Naruto in a life/death situation would use gamabunta and id love to see neji rotate his moves. Also once naruto is able to use rasengan and mass clones neji would get caught at some point.

If he tries to force his way to shino he would get caught by the bugs. He cannot be hasty. Also you act as if neji is as fast as lee on his feet. For all we have seen Shino can run away as fast as neji can run towards but being barraged by bugs the whole time.

Well no, Lee would beat shino imo. Gates is too much for his bugs to react to and he runs from really no chakra i think lee would beat him. To be honest it is a bad match up for neji. Temari would beat shino imo he wind is too much. Sasuke may be able to get him because of his large Katoon(fireball) Neji is chakra taijutsu which is not going to work here all about counters.

They're not equal. Kakashi was 33, then 34.5

Kakuzu is only 32.5

I give you that he was protecting them but once he uses MS once he is done, He would have had to used it if naruto and yamato wouldnt have shown up. But kakashi would have only gotten 3 hearts max.
