I feel Naruto is not belongs to Uzamaki clan..Becoz 4th hokage belong to namikaze clan...As you can see in manga, Nara or Akamachi clan where father and son are belongs same clan and have similar techniques..Can anybody please explain why did naruto was not named after his dad..Why cant he learn his father clan jutsus...:shrug::shrug:

Is the 4th hokage is last person in their clan...if not why cant other member accepted him and teach him their clan jutsu..

He is only half uzumaki considering his father wasn't a uzamaki. Not named after his dad becuase his dad picked his name smart one...... Im sure he can do his father clan justus, but hasn't realy been taught that.

They didn't want people in the Village to know that Naruto's father was Minato, because it might tarnish his reputation somewhat. Although I believe Naruto would've been treated better if he had gone by his father's name. From what we know, Minato came from a normal family like Sakura and so, there are no Hiden (Unique techniques to one clan, e.g. Nara's Shadow Jutsus) or other abilites.

1. He took his mothers name b/c his father (as a Kage) as too many enemies, they would have tried to kill Naruto.
2. His "father's Clan" has no jutsu from what we have seen LOL. Minato's FTG is an UZUMAKI driven technique. He created the Rasengan all by himself. I see no other prevelant Jutsu to associate his clan with.

We don't even know if there is a 'Namikaze clan' its just his surname so obviously they are going to use the preferred plan name and they didn't want people to know Naruto was related to the 4th.

OT: Naruto is half Uzumaki. In ancient Japan, either surname could be given, it didn't really matter. I guess both Kushina and Minato went with Uzumaki.

They didn't name him after Minato because of his father's reputation. Too many people would have tried to sway him. The third did it to protect Naruto from threats inside and outside the village.

could you please tell me why Kakahi didnt teach body flickering technique or teleportation jutsu to naruto..I am asking this because kakahi knows everything about Naruto and his father jutsu..
