[Discussion] Rayleigh real strength

He would've lost against Kizaru. What the rayleigh supporters are not taking into account is the following:

1. He hadn't been fighting actively like Garp, Whitebeard, and Sengoku (so to put him on their level is just an insult to them in my opinion). This was visible when he started breathing hard in his clash with Kizaru.


Flawed reasoning of : "His mindset was to stall, so if he was serious he would've beat him".


Thats just simply wrong. He had to resort to stalling because he couldn't overpower Kizaru. At the best he could do was stall. If he was able to overpower Kizaru, he would've been able to go over to help with the Pacifista situation that Luffy was facing.

But who's saying Garp would beat Kizaru high diff? And who's saying that age doesn't affect Garp more than Rayleigh?

Maybe Garp beats Kizaru at mid/low difficulty and Rayleigh at mid. difficulty, and maybe Rayleigh didn't get affected by the ageing as much as Garp got.

So here's a person who's been living peacefully after being fighting ages against top tiers with the Pirate King, in his 70's probably and has to make his life a war again just to beat an Admiral so the Strawhats would accomplish the same as they really did, survival? And he would've been keeping fighting if Kuma didn't whisper in his ear anyway, it's not like he stopped stalling because of stamina..
