Rasenshuriken vs neji's rotation

Exactly what the title says. If a rasenshuriken was thrown at neji and he used his rotation what would happen?

Some guys are arguing that neji's rotation would completely deflect a rasenshuriken, leaving neji unharmed.

I do not agree, what do you guys think?

even if it was on the same frequency, to cancel it out he would have to put as much chakra into it as naruto put into the RS or he would just be overwhelmed

neji's rotation would have to be of the same chakra and level of wind? (not sure if neji's rotation is in fact fuuton) jutsu as rasenshiruken. oterwise rasenshiruken would just absorb the chakra from his rotation and deal 2x the dmg to neji.... meaning neji would expload if his rotation isnt at least on par with rasenshiruken. bsides rasen is midrange and i'm pretty sure in the meantime naruto would have made 50 other rasengan varients to take out neji

It all depends how strong the individuals jutsu is right? I mean if you compar the rasenshuriken to the ratations we have seen so far than neji's rotation would shatter under that destructive power. I am hoping that we will see a much more powerful rotation closer to or much more powerful than the one Hinatas father used during Orochimarus attack. Maybe it could stand up to rasengan but not rasenshuriken.

This is true and its also a forbidden Jutsu, made so by Tsunade, but yea its wind element chakra which would over power neji's normal chakra so therefore Rasenshuriken>rotation

Rasenshuriken at first it cuts before it becomes a sphere of destruction,so even if neji can be at a frequency higher than rasenshuriken, the fact remains is that itll simply cut through the rotation,making a hole upon impact which the rasenshuriken in turn will expand causing damage through the the cut or gap it created when it first came in contact with the rotation?

The rasenshuriken not only rotates faster, but the penetrating power is too much for neji.

and seeing as the jutsu is thrown, the momentum of the jutsu will also determine the power as well.

A regular rotation will not suffice when going up against rasenshuriken. However, a rotation comparable to the one Hiashi demonstrated in Orochimaru's attack may be able to deflect a good portion of the rasenshuriken's effects with minimal damage.
