naruto had time to improve the rasengan,minato didnt have.its like that the 2nd hokage created edo tensai but now kabuto has the best control over the jutsu.and i dont think mixing your affinity with rasengan makes it powerful always.like we know rasengan>chidori.

It's funny because now I think about it. Jman said it that it was an incomplete jutsu. But minato and naruto looked the same so I'm thinking that all these different ones are still incomplete and not what minato actually wanted it to be. It seems as if he was trying to recreate the bijuu ball or a technique similar

for basic rasengan minato's was slightly bigger and he can do it one handed.

Naruto uses clones to make it and its abit small for the basic level.


Jiraiya Id say is better than both of them. He can he do 2 rasengans in each hand without clones and has done the biggest rasengan to date.


But ultimatly naruto is taken the tech to the next level to wind rasengan.

Well, Konohamaru also managed to kill one of the 6 paths (does that count?). I think that the reason why Naruto's Rasengan is small would be because it's somehow more concentrated than Minato's original. But idk.

well i am just thinking about rasengan... minato's rasengan seemed a hole lot more powerful than naruto's while he was fighting with tobi . .... naruto is .. :sy:

That I disagree with. Naruto had learnt how Minato had mastered it, he then proceeded to master it himself and improved on it to create a more powerful, complete variation. It was always stated the Rasegan was a incomplete Jutsu, Naruto alone completed it as is natural in advance. Use earlier research to prevent time wastage on the relearning of basics, then use the extra time to improve and enhance the research within the same length of time.

Functionally, they would be identical in it's basic form, just the addition improvements only count for higher stages.

Strength or power is not important in here , it's the way how these techs are used in battle.

Brain > Strength(even overwhelming strength) = common sense

All naruto does,is spam rasengans & kage bunshin...
He's just wasting the chakra he gets....
& if you look at it again, from his only 2 speciliaty jutsus, one was created by Minato & 2nd was a forbidden jutsu from the scroll he stole in chapter 1.

All I can say,is that most ninjas would've done better than naruto if they had nine tails chakra inside them.

Because we've seen SO many jutsus from Minato right? Let's see, what has Kishi depicted him doing so far... um... spam FTG, Rasengan and Body Flicker aaand... ah no wait, that's actually it. (yeah he did use the teleportation seal on the big bijuu dama headed for his face, but imo that was a variation of the FTG, he was even holding the dagger after that).

Oh and yes, that one jutsu with which he died.

Don't get me wrong, I love Minato, but imo your comment is irrelevant, thread is not about how many jutsus they can do, it's about whose version of the Rasengan is stronger

On the topic: Minato's base Rasengan does look stronger, but Naruto's improved it over and over again and created a gazillion versions of it that are stronger than Minato's jutsu.

Naruto created a giant Rasengan ball during the war, while he was preparing for sage mode so Naruto has made the biggest to date in base mode.
