Rasengan mystery

Hey guys the rasengan has been a mystery to me since when it was first introduced to to contradictions on kishis part. Here's a few examples

Had kabuto not been a medic nin he would have died. And even den it took all of his chakra to heal himself.

Then the strength of the rasengan started to gradual fall. From superior to chidori, to equal to chidori to inferior to chidori.

No one should survive this

yet obito did. Without any damage. But got almost killed by

This suggests that the rasengan has weakened. Even minato the creator couldn't land a mortal wound on obito after a direct hit. Why do you guys think this is happening? Is chidori just better or are minato and naruto just not willing to kill that they deliberately weaken their attacks? Mind you I am not talking about rasenshuriken or other rasengan varients just the original.

like many techniques, the power is dependent on how much chakra is put into it. maybe Naruto's getting lazy on us now since he has so many other powerful techniques.

I know what you mean, its gone from being fatal to just being narutos standard attack that seems to erupt and send people flying... Maybe its not the attack getting weaker but the enemies getting stronger

You can weaken your rasengan if you wanted to (Jiriyah first showed naruto the rasengan when they were training and he only sent the guy flying and spinning, because he weakened it) so maybe naruto wasnt going full force on his rasengan when he hit tobi

I would understand if someone with susanoo, chakra cloak med nin or even sage mode user. But a normal person come on. Obito tanked it like a boss. Heck even narutos headbutt did as much damage.

That's 2 different rasengan.

Minato's rasengan is filled with supporting chakra while naruto's full of main character chakra

His mask is probably a strong metal, the fact that it broke the mask is still impressive.

You're comparing Naruto's rasengan that broke probably the strongest compound of metal on earth (just a guess), to Kakashi's raikiri that pierced flesh... great comparison.

Obito's mask is actually quite tough, don't be surprised.

Obito has senju dna, sigh, that stuff really gets around. Like the STD of the NV. Hashi was a ****, spreading his cells out allover da place, putting the HOE is Hokage.

But that was a boss move, after that rasengan he was able to tag him out and the seals never goes again, i didn't understand why minato didn't kill him when he was leaving with his hax (kamui) it would have the job done. He should have the 3rd hokage deal with it, he has the Dead Demon Consuming Seal

The mask protected his face from the full damage... Rasengan and Chidori have to different types of effect on an opponent... Rasengan smashes/crush while Chidori pierce/slice opponents...
