rasengan>chidori

so i have these threads saying chidori is more powerful then rasegan
yes chidori is easier to use then rasengan because it can be use as a tool while rasengan it's hard to get a blow.
kakashi uses chidori because with sharingan it easier to kill

but in terms of power rasengan is more powerful go read chapter 176
it was stated rasenga is stronger and shown to be more powerful
kishimoto even them out to make sasuke and naruto even plus they they cancel each other.rasengan ends up spinning sasuke's chidori's lightening.and no rasengan is not a wind tec it's pure chakra.also rasengan is smaller but more powerful.

Yep kishi pretty much made it all clear when S & N were thrown by kakashi and naruto's rasengan made a bigger hole through sheer force and the constant rotation. Whilst sasuke's chidori has more penetrating power.

Put it this way would you get stabbed by a machete or hit by a sledge hammer lol

Yep kishi pretty much made it all clear when S & N were thrown by kakashi and naruto's rasengan made a bigger hole through sheer force and the constant rotation. Whilst sasuke's chidori has more penetrating power.

rasengan also penetrates so it more like an small explosion while chidori is a sword

chidori use both shape and nature manipulation (chakra + lightning nature) if you don't have lightning nature then forget it

rasengan is just shape manipulation and with training most people can do it

since rasengan can hold and stand before chidori and since rasengan is just shape manipulation I think rasengan > chidori
rasen shuriken is like chidori using both shape and nature manipulation
but if forget this stuffs I think chidori is more handy

Again the rasengan is more powerful(destructive power) than the chidori. The chidori is more deadly due to its incredibly piercing ability.
