Rasengan & Chidori QUESTION

So was there ever an explanation as to why the perfect clash of a rasengan & a chidori made this?

I mean the 2 techniques aren't linked. What causes all this mysterious shapes when they clash jutsu? Is there more to it?

My personal theory has always been that the sphere was formed by the emotions that Sasuke and Naruto were feeling at the time. It has been stated that when two Shinobi are equal, they can sense the others thoughts and feelings with just the exchange of fists in a fight. I think that is what we are seeing here. It isn't necessarily formed by the jutsu they wield more so than it is their feelings.

maybe it is the second tailed beast bomb well chidori and rasengan are two different jutsus just like futon rasengan suiton ahonryuu then it made gufuu suikano jutsu so raiton chidori futon rasengan made second tailed beast bomb well i think.

Also I kind of think it was like a mini-meeting, like when Sasuke and Naruto clashed like second time. How they were floating but didn't say anything.

It might have been like the second time where the entire thing took place in their heads, when in reality it was just a rasengan and chidori clashing, followed by sasuke slashing naruto's abdomen and naruto scratching sasuke's forehead protector.

Well the best thing i can think of was since their techniques used darkish chakra, it came out dark. however, the sphere is formed by chidori penetrating the chakra shell of the rasengan. Then the rasengan energy was released and made the sphere.
