Okay now i am interested in the amount of sand it could eliminate. I believe about 50 yards thick worth. I am sure in a large large quantity it could destroy the defense. What i want argued is the threshold of the defense against the rasen.

It would definitely break through the sand easily, doubtful gaara would have the chakra to fend off that level of attack for the duration that it lasts.

Can it pierce sand defense? Of course it CAN. but what makes Gaara's defense different from Kakuzu's iron hide or Raikages' v2 armor is that BECAUSE it is sand, it is constantly changing, Gaara doesnt just sit there and make scaredy faces when people get through his defense anymore like he used to against lee/Sasuke.

IMO there are many, many jutsu with the ability to break through the sand, its SAND afterall, the whole point of it is that he can change its shape and form and density however he wants.

ANYWAY, yes rasenshuriken could easily take Gaara by surprise but i dont think it would STOMP or RAPE him. his sand doubles as an impact buffer even when he DOES get hit outright, and theres always the armor of sand. Gaara is also the LAST person you want to throw a projectile weapon at

not to sure but the sand would probably slow it down & if it hits the sand it would most likely destroy the sand when it explodes as it can alter the terrain when it explodes as seen when fighting kakuza

RS would devestate gaaras sand, but knowing gaara he would have multiple defences to keep himself safe. Yes Gaara could survive it, but only by being behind multiple walls/layers of sand, being distances, and would have to have a trick up his sleeve. Gaaras survival is possible, but RS would still stomp.

Okay first of all Rasen Shuriken does not destroy on a molecular level. It does destroy on a cellular level though. Only jinton can destroy at a molecular level. I don't think Gaara can block it unless he has already anticipated the attack like ten seconds before and prepares enough sand to block it.

gaara walked out of a meteor blast without any issues,he blocked joki's explosions the instant it exploded. He will block it easily
