Rare genius'

Is the term rare genius or once in a generation genius overused.
Itachi
Orochimaru
Minato the list goes on. Does anyone agree with me?

Well technically speaking they are geniuses and they are in different generations. Orochimaru is oldest, then Minato and then Itachi haha

So if your a kid who graduates early we just call you a once in a generation genius. I'll stop whining. Just think they should use a different term for each guy.

Yeah, the term is used quite a bit, but appropriately I think.

Orochimaru was a genius in his own time. (A genius that appeared after every few decades - Hiruzen and was given the title of a Legendary Sannin by Hanzo)

Then came Minato who was even referred to as a genius by Jiraiya. (Orochimaru had always been Hiruzens choice of 4th Hokage, than came Jiraiya and finally Minato when there was no one else)

Finally came Itachi who could truly be called a genius like Orochimaru.

I'd say that the only true genius in Naruto are:
(I gave them numbers randomly. For example whoever came to my mind first was given that certain number so don't start raging on how one of them deserves to be higher than the other even though these aren't any rankings)

1) Orochimaru
2) Itachi
3) Kabuto (Even though he found out about almost everything through Orochimaru, he was however still a great strategist and a master manipulator)
4) Madara
5) Obito
6) Shikaku
7) Kakashi
